Our Registration Fee for the 2023-2024 season is $250. This includes a $15.00 Facility Use Fee charged by the City of Smyrna for each player participating in the league. Smyrna Basketball has a NO REFUND POLICY.
Online Registration begins every Aug. 15th. A $25.00 late registration fee will apply to all registrations submitted after Oct. 1st. There are expenses to running our league -- referee fees, scorekeepers, gym rental cost for practices, trophies, basketballs and uniforms are just some of the expenses we incur. Your registration fee covers all of these and many other expenses, including the cost for players insurance.
SBA will supply the basketball uniform consisting of a reversible jersey and shorts.
It is mandatory that all parents come to the player Skills Assessment.
There are a few other items you may need to purchase that are not included in any of the previously mentioned fees. We suggest that each player wear basketball specific athletic shoes. These shoes will not mark gym floors and will provide appropriate traction & ankle support. We also recommend that each player have his or her own basketball for practice at home, when away from formal team activities. Lastly, we suggest that each player bring a water bottle for games and practices to stay hydrated.
